SHORT DESCRIPTION
Eat snacks, make gas, and jetpack out of a world run by a very helpful AI.

DESCRIPTION
While PotHead was relaxing in his favorite outhouse, the whole world got upgraded.

An endlessly helpful AI called Totally Safe AI™ has optimized everything. The town is spotless, the clouds are perfectly square, and nothing smells like anything. Two things didn't get upgraded: the outhouse, and a kid who wears a cooking pot on his head like a backwards cap.

The pot covers his eyes, so the AI can't scan him. His homemade jetpack runs on the one thing it can't optimize: methane. Time to escape the cloud.

PotHead: Escape the Cloud is a one-thumb arcade game for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Android, in ten levels that each play a different way. Jetpack out of the 2011 original, snack by snack, until it cracks. Ride a kid's RC boat up East Lake with the jetpack for a motor, through milk-jug gates, past gators and fishermen. Drive the Guzzler through a town built from CAPTCHAs, then fly it out and stick the landing. Fold a paper dart at youth night, run at the line, and stick it in the far wall. Sneak past four million copies of PotHead; they all have eyes. Surf a contest the AI has made perfectly safe. Dive off Melbourne Beach, clean up the sea where the AI dumps everything it deletes, and ride out on a whale named Whaley. Run, jump, and toot through a squirrel's nut empire. Fly low over the cloud's server corn, between harvesters and freight trains. Then head NumNuts into a chrome ceiling until the real sky shows through. After that comes a bonus level: Totally Safe Sky.

Every level has three goals on NumNuts' to-do list, like sticking the dart exactly 8 feet up or a heat with no wipeouts. Escape levels and check off goals to restore The Cloud; the Map shows how far you've come, and PotHead walks it from each level to the next.

The story plays out in comic panels. Before Level 1, you see the real Cloud on East Lake, with the sandhill cranes on Main Street, the town band at the Band Shell, and the Saturday RC boat races, and then Totally Safe AI's tidy copy of each. After the last level, the ending brings it all back. Then the credits roll, and you can fly through them and knock the letters loose.

PotHead first flew on iPhone in 2011. This is the relaunch: same kid, same pot, a lot more gas.

FEATURES
- Ten levels, each a different way to play: jetpack, race an RC boat, drive, throw a paper dart, sneak, surf, dive, run, fly low, and break bricks. Then a bonus level, Totally Safe Sky.
- One thumb: hold to fly, let go to drop. Each level shows you its moves.
- iPhone and iPad in portrait or landscape, Android phones and tablets, and Apple TV with the Siri Remote or a game controller.
- Snacks are fuel: Snacky Cakes, pie, and Pork N' Bains, which kick you upward. Eat a whole named formation for +15 gas.
- Level 1, The Old Game: the 2011 PotHead, remade. The Cloud at 0 ft, balloons and airplanes, then black space, the stars, and the blue moon.
- Sandhill cranes that cross your path, and don't move for anybody. Garoo!
- From 2,500 ft the old game glitches: cracks, Totally Safe AI's polite lines, tears into its pastel world, and drones leaking through, until PotHead breaks out at 5,000 ft.
- Level 2, The Data Lake: ride a kid's RC boat up East Lake against the town kids, through their milk-jug gates, past gators and fishermen, with power-ups and a wakeboard rope along the way.
- Level 3, CAPTCHA Cloud: drive the Guzzler through a town built from CAPTCHAs, and pick the right squares at every gate.
- NumNuts' list: three goals in every level, from sticking the dart exactly 8 feet up to a heat with no wipeouts. Escape levels and check off goals to restore The Cloud; the Map shows how far you've come, and PotHead walks it from each level to the next.
- The story in comic panels: the intro shows the real Cloud on East Lake, its sandhill cranes, the town band at the Band Shell, and the Saturday RC boat races, before Totally Safe AI tidies it all up, and the ending brings it back.
- Credits you can play: fly through the names and knock the letters loose. Totally Safe AI puts them back.
- A busy preacher hosts the Paper Airplane Contest, with five pagers on his belt and three phones that won't stop ringing.
- The bonus level, Totally Safe Sky: square clouds, polite drones, and a gas trail that tears holes back to the real sky.
- Fast retry with a tip from how the run went, and a demo that plays itself.
- Music and sound for every level, and heavy metal for the big boss fight, with separate volumes for each, plus Vibration and Reduce motion settings.
- No tracking and no account. Ads only between runs, never mid-flight, and none on Apple TV; one purchase removes them for good.
- Personal bests on every level, a Progress page, and leaderboards on Game Center and Google Play Games.

HISTORY
PotHead first flew on iPhone in 2011: a kid with a cooking pot on his head, a jetpack built from old satellite and car parts, and named snack formations in the sky. Fifteen years later he's back, and Level 1 is that game, remade.
